This is my favorite thing to make on grocery day as it is so quick and easy to prepare. We love eating these even as leftovers! Like many others this recipe comes from the More-with-Less cookbook but usually with some changes.
6 English muffins
2 cups tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic salt
About 8 oz grated mozzarella cheese
Combine all but english muffins, cheese and toppings. Spread on english muffins (about 1 1/2 spoonfuls each) and top with cheese and favorite toppings.
Broil till cheese is bubbly and browned.
